Youth Eco-Festival “Khan Qoryq – 2025” Held in Bayanaul

From August 11 to 15, the Bayanaul National Park hosted the “Khan Qoryq – 2025” Republican Youth Eco-Festival, dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the park. The event brought together around 50 students and young activists from different regions of Kazakhstan. For five days, participants discussed climate change, biodiversity, green finance, and sustainable tourism.

The festival was organized with the support of QazaqGeography, the National Conservation Initiative, and the UNDP in Kazakhstan. “Engaging youth in environmental education is an investment in the country’s green future,” noted the organizers.
