As part of the “Biz QazaqGeography” info-communication platform, an open lecture was held on the topic: “Development of Ecotourism in Kazakhstan’s National Parks”, bringing together nature enthusiasts, experts, and eco-tourism advocates.
Opening the event, Deputy Chairman of QazaqGeography Adlet Tkenov (@adlet_tkenov) emphasized that ecotourism is becoming a crucial tool for nature conservation and sustainable regional development. He stressed that fostering environmental awareness is possible through education and meaningful experiences in nature.
Project Manager of QazaqGeography Zhansaya Beisenova presented three exceptional national parks of Kazakhstan:
-
Altyn-Emel — a jewel of Central Asia, known for its unique landscapes and rare species;
-
Charyn — the “Kazakh Grand Canyon,” a perfect site for eco and adventure tourism;
-
Ile-Alatau — a mountainous park attracting tourists with its scenic views and rich biodiversity.
During the session, participants discussed how these parks can become hubs for sustainable ecotourism and their impact on raising ecological awareness and supporting local communities.
QazaqGeography continues to unite professionals and enthusiasts to promote ecotourism as a bridge between nature, culture, and responsible travel.
