Today, in the city of Astana at the Ybyray Altynsarin School, an open lesson organized by the QazaqGeography voluntary geographical society took place. The event was dedicated to environmental protection and ecological issues in Kazakhstan.
During the lesson, representatives of QazaqGeography told the students about the organization’s activities aimed at studying, preserving, and popularizing the nature and cultural heritage of our country. Special attention was paid to projects in the field of environmental protection, research expeditions, and educational events.
Professor Nurlan Munbayev spoke at the lesson, sharing with the students his knowledge about the importance of preserving ecosystems and the issue of the Caspian Sea's shallowing. He explained in detail the causes of this phenomenon, its consequences for the region, and the measures that need to be taken to protect this unique natural object.
The lesson provided students with an opportunity to learn more about the natural and ecological problems of Kazakhstan and to think about personal responsibility for protecting the environment.
