Today, in the city of Astana, an open lesson for the 8th grade was held at A. Baitursynov School, organized by the voluntary geographical society QazaqGeography. The open lesson was dedicated to environmental protection and ecological issues in Kazakhstan.
During the lesson, representatives of QazaqGeography informed the students about the organization's activities aimed at studying, preserving, and popularizing the nature and cultural heritage of our country. Special attention was given to projects in the field of environmental protection, research expeditions, and educational events.
Professor Nurlan Munbayev spoke at the lesson, sharing his knowledge with the students about the importance of preserving ecosystems, the issue of the Caspian Sea's shallowing, and the mass death of endangered Caspian seals. He explained in detail the causes of this phenomenon, its consequences for the region, and the measures that need to be taken to protect this unique natural object.
The lesson provided students with an opportunity to learn more about the natural and ecological problems of Kazakhstan and to think about personal responsibility for protecting the environment.
QazaqGeography expresses gratitude to the school administration and students for their support and invitation, and hopes for further cooperation in the field of environmental education.
