About Park
The Ulytau State National Natural Park is a national park in Ulytau district of Ulytau oblast of Kazakhstan. It was founded according to Decree of the Government of Kazakhstan No.867 of December 07, 2021, by reorganizing the Ulytau farm for the protection of forests and wildlife. The Decree came into force on January 01, 2022. The territory of the national park includes the reserve of the same name with an area of 19,300 hectares.
The National Park was created to restore and preserve ecosystems and natural complexes of the Ulytau mountain-steppe massif, as well as to increase the tourist potential of the region.
